Hmmm, ok so i removed it from a shared antenna pole and went direct into the metal flashing wall, still seems to be quite a shake, think it might be the arm for the camera. Wont be able to get it any better but it is a windy day

That's quite interesting. It's getting battered about like mad. Wonder how long the mountings will last with that much movement?

dontpanic42: Quality and frame rate look pretty good! :)

However, it does look like the original aspect ratio is 16:9, yet the video is being displayed as 4:3 for me.

How did you see it's a 16:9 ? You are correct thought the original rtsp source is 1280x720 but the rtmp broadcaster is doing 4:3 for some reason. Would forward direct to the camera but that will either blow it up or use too much bw to the device ;)

Will have a look through the config and see if there is a way to restream the rtmp via 16:9

I just noticed by the way the cars looked vertically stretched. ;)

BTW, if you eliminate the camera shaking, you'll probably save quite a bit in bandwidth if it's a VBR (variable bit-rate) stream. Not so much if it's CBR (constant bit-rate).

Saying I can't do any better is an unfortunate attitude...  Don't let it own you, deal to it Wink

That shaking is giving me a migraine, I can only look for a few moments. Auckland can keep Wellington's wind, they are welcome to it. Using Firefox 16.0.2

Can you tilt it down so the exposure is better - too dark on the motorway
