Don't they have notifications in their forum? Do you mean they keep getting pageviews in their system because they force you to constantly refresh the pages to look for replies?

Who'd have thought?

I don't think so. Why not just start off topic threads about TradeMe when the need arises?

or we could respond to such suggestions like...

Thank you for your interest and suggestion however we would prefer to focus on technology related subject matter and leave such things as TradeMe etc to the off topic forum. But remember we do appreciated member input and suggestions.

maybe we should have a geekzone forum on the geekzoe forums so we can discuss things about geekzone. then within that forum we could have another sub-forum about the different forums on geekzone e.g. one for telecom, one for vodafone, and one for geekzone. then within that forum we could have another geekzone discussion forum.

It's turtles all the way down....

LOL I reckon, like me, some of you have way to much time on your hands judging by some of the comments

But there IS a Geekzone forum on the Geekzone forum.  Hmm, sounds like MF is already halfway there...

Perhaps an 'Auctions' forum that covers all sites, like ebay etc. There is no point in having one for just one brand, otherwise every little trading site will ask for their own one.  Maybe 'shopping' in general, as there are quite a lot of threads about people who have problems with purchases and warranties, consumer law etc.

I have often thought a forum for websites (or internet content) in general would be a good idea. It does seem to be lacking.

We (mods) struggle to get people to post in the correct forums as it is.

I think the most appropriate answer is there isn't a demand as yet.  If we were seeing an influx of posts about Trade Me, then creating a dedicated forum for it would be justified.

As it is, there doesn't seem to be much of a demand, so there's no need for a forum as yet (the ethos of "build it and they will come" doesn't really apply here)

do you want to elaborate a bit on that concept?
