I recall an article a few years ago in one of the news papers that Labour were increasing the number of immigrants from the Pacific Islands. The reason given that we need to do this to fill the jobs that NZ'ers do not want to do.

It almost sounds like a class system.

Unfortunately humans have a natural tendancy to form classes of people. You can see it in all economic systems, even workplaces.

Politics bores me to tears however I feel strongly that journalism should be objective and factual. Not going 'ZOMG KILLER BEEZ LETS RUN & HIDE OH NO ITS SARS OH NO LOOK U CAN FEEL HEALTHIER BY HOLDING UR LEFT ARM UP OR DRINKING CHOCOLATE'

You can tell you're watching the right channel when the media protests against the goverment & argues for freedom of speech. America doesn't seem to have the best reputation in that regard.

Everyone should just adopt the scientific method for everything. Problem solved! Cool

Fox ran a poll to find who is "the most foolish American".... They announced the winner as Britney Spears with 33% of votes, but forgot to mention George Bush with 40%...

How's that for being ignorant of numbers, lying or else?
