1080p:betterment? My partner backed into a car and left a ring where the exhaust hit. She waited for the owner( outside our house) she got a quote of around $600 to have entire bumper resprayed. Which is perfectly fine if the mark we made was the only one, but the bumper was covered in marks. As my excess was $300, I offered them $150 or their could try their luck in court. We did not go too courtplod: If the person who hit your car is paying, I would go halves with him, as you are getting prior damage fixed.
Why? The same amount would be paid if the bumper was in perfect nick. The fact that there was other damage is irrelevant.
