hope this also means that its on its way to NZ. surely we're kind of in a similar playing field as them when it comes to broadband connection wise not population using it.

also people who do have it. do you regularly get full HD streaming or even UHD? i have fibre just a bit curious

You guys get waaay better internet than Oz.

I get full HD with surround sound on 30Mb cable with the stream set to auto. On fibre, it should be the same.
That said, I probably use 2-3GB per hour.

I know a guy, who knows a guy that has Netflix. We then got Netflix.

I told a few people, who told a few more people, who then asked me to help with their Netflix setups. I helped. They told some people, who told some other people that they "know a guy", who "knows a guy"! I helped those people with their setups too. OK but back in those days it was all hush hush... illegal !!!!....

When we have kids coming around to our house they all go home telling their parents what awesom TV we have, and they all want it to know why they don't have it. I helped some of those poor parents too..

I cant think of anything else of better value for money that my $7.99/mo on Netflix.

It's not really "illegal" to have Netflix. The hush hush is just so that Netflix, Hulu and other services don't go closing access to VPN services, etc.

But the response from certain people sometimes it quiet entertaining.

I doubt that netflix will block vpns as they receive probably a good amount of business from those people. They never publicly say anything about vpns not to offend their content partners.

Parentals and in-laws have no idea how it works, don't care how it works, they just love their "American TV" that magically gets onto their big screen TV.

Got norwegian and american Netflix in Kiwiland. Its nice, although I have to admit that I at this point is eagerly waiting for the next series of House of Cards due in february, not sure what else is all that grand on Netflix. Have usually seen all the great series before they end up on Netflix.

I subscribe to Netflix. House of Cards is brilliant. Season 2 starts on February 14. My teenage kids love all those old episodes of Cheers.

I have just started using Netflix on my Samsung Smart TV. Have to say I love it. My TV enabled me sign up for a UK Netflix account, which works well with Unotelly.

Does anybody know how to convert a UK Netflix account to a US account. I think there is more content available through the US. Makes Sky seem rather redundant (except for the sport).
