Your cute dog won my vote, and it looks like you're leading comfortably now

Thank you. When I went to the pound that day I wanted an older, male dog. I came home with a female puppy! At the pound, she sat there. Didn't bark, jump up or anything. Just sat up as straight as she could, looking hopeful and sad at the same time while all the other dogs milled around the communal enclosure. She had been brought in very young and had already been there some weeks. Soon after I got her home she developed mange and it took a while to diagnose it so she was a very itchy dog for a while but we got it sorted after eliminating other causes and getting her on pills for it.

Right from the start she was well behaved and brilliant to walk off lead. It didn't take her too long to look much happier.

Here is a picture of her grown up (on the right)

And as a 'teen' playing with her 'brother'. (Who initially wanted to eat her)

They get a lot of horses there too. They have one that was starving they are bringing back to health. It's on their facebook page.

She's a great dog, loves cuddles. I'd certainly recommend a pound dog.

I'll muck around trying to get these images to show right. Bbcode, this editor and my iPad don't mix. I give up.

It is not the editor or BBCODE. The Dropbox URL is not an image but a page.

Hey!! The Opotiki SPCA won! By about 100 votes. Yours made a HUGE difference! A heart felt thank you to everyone who supported this. I'll post the link to the thank you video once they've done it.

Thanks. I think I'm officially forum hopeless. :)

Edit: ps, that horse looks good now but the poor thing was a bag of bones when they got it.
