Did you go and ask the people in the supermarket? I find it really really hard to believe that they don't stock not only Almond Flour but a myriad of other GF flours. About 10 years back sure it was harder to get this stuff, but now it is everywhere; might just be in a different place than you are expecting. For instance I have found that the Almond Flour is usually with the nuts and other baking ingredients rather than specifically with the flour section. Likewise all supermarkets that I have been in recently (ie last couple of years) have separate GF sections - so stuff could be in there too. New World should certainly have this stuff.

We have found the cost is coming down - it used to be stupid expensive. But a lot of the normal manufacturers are starting to supply GF goods now - Pasta is one example, where GF pasta is not only 'normal'(ish) in price but also pretty good quality. I remember initially we could only find some wholemeal (looking) brown rice spiral things that were like trying to eat slugs dipped in slime :\

Your Almond Flour recipes should be great - I have yet to find one that doesn't result in something yummy...but then again I am a bit of a cake hoar :)

Went to the supermarket on two occasions. Looked in the baking aisle, which has flours and all other baking ingredients and also the gluten free section. I sent my local store an email yesterday so will see what they say in response.

Maybe I was just blind but I don't think so
