Kyanar: I'm gonna be honest, it's easier to use fuzzy logic.  I've never had mine go above 39 minutes for a full wash (5.5 litres but)

I don't care what program I use haha so long as its done in 40-45 minutes maximum

I just tried "page 18 - Soak Wash" I set it for 40M 1T 7M and it said it was taking 1 hour 30 minutes.

Im soooooo confused. I really don't understand this.

My Samsung has  Quick Wash, thats 60 mins with the 30 min soak. Full wash is 1-30 with the 30 min soak. Doesnt your machine have buttons for quick wash, normal wash, delicates etc? Seems odd to have to punch in MTM whatever MTM means.

That was 40-45 maximum, so long as it doesn't go longer than that I don't mind.

1 Hour + a half though im obviously doing something wrong.

my bosch takes 3 hours for a proper wash. my old F&P -> 25 mins.
anyway, I use a setting that says 45 mins but actually takes 1 1/2 hrs.
maybe you just have to accept the way of the future

M = Minutes, T = Times.  That set of figures is Wash Time, Number of Spin Cycles, Rinse Time.  The reason it's taking so long for him is he seems preternaturally obsessed with manually specifying the figures rather than letting the machine do it.

OP, for the love of all that's holy, stop specifying the figures, and let the machine work it out.  It's almost guaranteed it comes out to maybe 30-50 minutes max.

Off topic slightly, but when we changed from a top loader (was one of there LG fuzzy logic things) to a Front Loader, my biggest concern was length of cycle. The normal 'Mixed' cycle on our Panasonic 10kg front loader takes about 1h40m (compared to 35-40 minutes on the top-loader).

Now, I have no issues with it - the machine is quiet and just does its thing. Helps that the F/L takes nearly twice as much washing as the T/L and uses about a third of the water (we are on tank supply, so that is important). I just leave it to it, would never go back to a T/L washer now.
