networkn: I didn't say he wasn't a New Zealander I said he wasn't a Kiwi. You can be a Kiwi if you hold the values that makes Kiwi's amazing.

Generally, Kiwis are neither more nor less 'amazing' than any other race on earth to be honest - despite the hype!

Heh, well we punch well above our weight in many areas (Sports is one good example), and being Kiwi, happy to wave the awesomeness flag regardless of how equivalent we are to others :-)

True, although I personally regard sport (unless you are actually playing it) to be amongst the largest wastes of time yet conceived of.

Well, over a million Kiwi's disagree with you, but each to their own I guess. Sport has caused a lot of happiness in general in the world.

As an expat Brit, to me stand out Kiwi qualities are their genuinely inventive use of #8 wire, and cure all nature of Harden Up Pills.

And a lot of riots, fights, expense to the taxpayer etc etc just to see which group of people can hit or kick a ball better than another group in return for $250,000 a week whilst actually useful people like scientists, surgeons etc earn about 5% of that.

If ever there was an overpaid job, it isn't being a CEO it's being a sportsman.

They don't tend to ram the drone itself into people, they usually use the drone to deliver the explody things :-)

I noticed that they used a drone to film the fireworks in the Sydney NYE display.  I wonder how they managed the battery life?

Drones will propagate faster than electric cars

I am not aware of a Kiwi Sports Person being paid that kind of money in our sporting history, not even for one week.

That's 13m and I am unsure as to whether she will earn that. Endorsements etc don't count as they aren't sporting payments.

Well I guess I'll eat my words when she does it, but as far as I am concerned she needs to win it before she can get it.

You keep using that word...

I think you folks in general mistake this quadcopter remote control thing with limited battery life and range:

With this drone thing:

I would like to point out size, range, load capacity, flying capabilities in adverse weather and STOP THE FARK USING "DRONE" for a toy.
