BigHammer: Wouldn't mind knowing what 'g' actually means. Governor?

You made me google it...

"Gangster"

Great, now my google search has that and "westside" from the alloy rims thread. :(

No surprises there John!

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Dratsab: Somebody wants to buy cannabis from someone they know well enough to refer to as 'g' and they have the money to do so.

I think you're mostly right, but I think when they say "seshnz" they mean some Chinese schezwan food. Noodles and stuff.

Yeah, noodles.

Presso: haha , yeah really need to watch who you are sending txt's to , more of a humerus thread was just curious what it may have been.

Have you seen the running gag Michael McIntyre does with SMS?  At the start of the program he gets someone to volunteer their phone.  He types in a potentially embarrassing text message and sends to all contacts.  Then at the end of the program he reads out some of the responses.

One would like to engage in a bout of inebriated shennanigans, the means to fund such an endeavor are no issue, G.

That was quite funny! McIntyre alternately amuses the heck out of me and annoys me with his shrieking campness though.

nathan: Shortened form of Gangsta

I know what a gangster is but what is a 'gangsta' and why would anyone admit to being a criminal?

I reckon you should invite them over but have PC Plod awaiting their arrival in your sitting room....

We had a similar experience with that particular dialect recently, when attempting to interact with someone on Facebook.

Turns out it translated to "Is it perfectly acceptable if we conclude this trade on the morrow? I will be labouring near your location"

I guess the funny thing is that it was one of my staff that sent it to me , they were not to keen on elaborating on what it actually did mean or why they did not turn up for work last night.
