WTH is the term 'Japan Quality' supposed to mean. To me it implies it is Japanese, but if it is Chinese, them how could it be Japan quality. If is made in china, then it is going to be Chinese quality. you can't have your cake and eat it too. It's like advertising something is NZ quality, but it is made in china. It's probably the type of advertising the commerce commission should look at to see if they think it is ok to advertise that way in NZ, but who has the time to report it, and do they have the resources either.

wasn't there an article or news program about Kumara grown in China but sold here and giving the impression that it was a NZ product. Pretty sure they were given a slap on the wrist for doing it.

Common sense is not as common as you think.

But how can you claim Japanese quality if it wasn't actually made in Japan. Eg what standard are they using to make that claim. Chinese made quality is arguably better than the quality of some Japanese made stuff anyone. Eg apple stuff is Chinese and great quality.

It's the same as "designed in the USA" built in China, reference Apple. Don't see an issue with it really.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
