Brumfondl:

Person of Interest is another awesome show. There are three seasons so far and it is looking like there will be a shortened 4th season to finish up the story.

There have been 4 seasons so far.

Did you miss a season?

POI best show on TV right now.

Best show since Lost.

I'm probably a latecomer to this show but Les Revenants (French TV show) is absolutely compelling . . .  and infinitely better than the currently running American remake.

My bad. Four seasons plus a probable shortened fifth coming :D

Oh, and +1 for The Blacklist. James Spader if lots of fun in that show. Which makes me think that Boston Legal would be a great show for this list, too.

Plus one for Fargo and True Detective.

Here is another I don't think anybody has mentioned. "The Affair" absolutely outstanding. Sounds like THE most boring show ever but it's not. Simply superb. TV fans will recognise the female lead from the BBC show Luther.

Poll: The Wire, outstanding show about the city of Baltimore and different aspects of it interacting with the police; drugs, shipping, government, school and News media for the five seasons.

What? It took nine posts for someone to recommend the Wire?? Shocking, pick up your game guys :p    (Seriously though the wire is amazing)

Boardwalk Empire and The Walking Dead are two of my favs.

Loved True Detective, amazing show.

Homeland is good.

House of Cards is really good.

We're really enjoying Bloodline (Netflix) at the moment.

There's so much quality tv, I haven't even seen The Wire or The Sopranos properly!
