Just looked at the facebook page. If there's one thing NZ'ers seem to be good at, its starting a movement to change back/bring back/alter a foodstuff.
I expect this will be covered on seven sharp, known for its high quality programming and coverage of important issues like this.

I thought they had different recipes for different markets. I recall Fair Go did a story on this, and the one people were complaining about that tasted horrible, was a parallel imported product intended for another market...at least according to the manufacturer.

Aren't the notes about it's energy irrelevent made by themanufacturer, because peoplr drink it for the taste, rather than any actual health benefits IMO

Well that's how I was bought up anyway. We used to have a stronger recipe than most others.

Ibell was motivated to act after her three year old child refused to drink the new formula.

Im sure you can find better things to feed a 3 year old.

Watch it - I'll have no-one knocking a relative of mine! (Never heard of her before but such an unusual surname chances are we're related.)

And we must be related, as I too commit the clearly cardinal sin of giving my three and seven year olds Milo. Certainly less nutritionally dodgy than juice, given we make it with milk and not that strong. I'd be more worked about stuff with negligible benefits such as some "cereals" like cocoa pops.

My kids are easy. If they don't eat what i give them they can starve. Unfortunately the other adults step in and spoil the party. I give up. They will grow in spite of what you do.

Ibell's three year old was tube fed for two years.

No one can comment on what to feed someone until they have had a tube fed child.

Having been through the nightmare of tube feeding a child for a year I would know.

Cheers, Matt.

Makes a change from Aussies claiming NZ stuff as theirs...Phar Lap, Pavlova, Joh Bjelke-Petersen (you can keep him tho), Crowded House, Russell Crowe (actually, you can keep him too) are a few that instantly spring to mind.

Now now... you can keep, Joh (everyone now knows what a kiwi will do to queensland if you give him enuff rope..), Russell, your horse and probably even pav  (I don't think so) but Crowded House was formed in Melbs and had more Americans(2) than Kiwis(1) when they started. While Paul Hester might have been in Split Enz, he was a Melbourne boy. That'd be like calling Cold Chisel Scottish, just because the lead singer was born there.

But you can keep them anyway... because they're sh*&

edit: plus the fact NZ media claims anything with the slightest tenuous connection to the country as a cultural landmark and calls it news... cool
