A few of the recent experiences with Bangalore recently made me consider driving into oncoming traffic.

sbiddle:alasta: I have also noticed that New Zealand newsreaders sound a lot more British if you listen to archival material that is several decades old. Dougal Stevenson and Philip Sherry, for example, sound quite different from the modern newsreaders.
In the old days you had to have a "BBC accent" - that was part of the training.
Common sense is not as common as you think.

Everything went well till the end when I couldn't work out why he kept asking me to get the leed. Leed? I don't need a leed.
