I so want this for my husband! He listens to and watches everything on his iPad. I don't listen to music but I listen to audio books on my phone and iPad so I could borrow it from him. He was just saying a few months ago he wanted one of these.

Here is my phone- he has his iPad with him and I'm typing on mine atm.

Man! I haven't had a Fathers Day gift in ages! Children are too tight (chip off the old block)

Currently still using my old XP system on an old HP 520 CMT for music and videos and demand TV (and this too!)

The speakers are old KTX  SP-220 and are quite tunefull but distort terribly when I turn it up.

I did have an M-Audio card but it went to the dogs so just on the inbuilt Intel sound (SoundMax?)

In the process of getting a new PC, no laptops for me, repaired too many for everyone else to want one as yet. Hoping for another M-Audio card or equivalent which would be great with the (hopefully) present.

Currently all I have is a set or wired headphones connected to the PC. It would be great to be able just to play things for others to hear instead of making them come over to put the headphones on to enjoy the latest 'cat rides a roomba' video laughing

I would give this to my dad as he is constantly trying to take my UE Boom 2 when he comes to stay. Loves listening to his country and western music blissfully annoying everyone around him with it. After putting up with me for 40 odd years, he deserves something nice :-)

Currently using an old logitech system which is no longer portable due to the fact the charge last all of 3 mins when unplugged

My 2 kids would love their dad to get something newer for Fathers Day :)

Just using headphones when around the house.  Using the AVR system when in the lounge via chromecast.

Would love this -  I used to have one of those little collapsible cylindrical type speakers but lost it a while ago, so have nothing for music outside or on the go :)

Around the house use a variety of Squeezebox players, including 2xBooms, a Touch, and 3xRPis running Squeezelite. This would be a great addition for away-from-home listening!

Here is the geeky one from me:

When I was using MS Remote Admin for monitoring Battery Analyser  - I was using just laptop speakers - was good enough. (When Alarm goes off - it sounds something like "Capacity is Reached",  "The Temperature Sensor #4 is Too High", etc.

MS RA has its limitations so I moved to another RA tool which works as intended except - it does not support monitoring the sound.

Hence need something be connected/paired with the monitored system to produce sound remotely. The range of few meters (5-10) is essential.

Or perhaps just suggest me free RA Server/Monitor soft so that I do not need extra gadget. :-)

I'm keen to enter, the kids a constantly asking to play music both inside and outside the house so they can dance and play, but phone speakers only work to a point. I borrowed a Bluetooth speaker for music at the oldest ones birthday a month ago, and they loved it.

This would be great for when I'm laying in my hammock reading my Kindle under the plum tree in summer. I currently don't have any speakers  to connect my phone to outside

vodafone smart ultra 6, speakers are good but not great and really need to be put in a cup for outside use, plus it isn't water proof.

Can't claim double points for a post about nothing, can I?

I got noffin'. In fact my wife and I were lamenting the very lack of a device such as this just last week. Can I play the pity card? :)
