Capsules are quite easily refilled and sealed with aluminum foil. But then if one really likes coffee Capsules are not the way to go

If you are going to refill, you need to use them with a day or three as the coffee will spoil.

I actually bought some Nespresso refill kits from Aliexpress. Came with a stainless steel capsule, a couple of rubber seals and a bunch of sticky aluminium foil caps. They worked but the coffee seemed to leak into the disposal container every now and then and given I can get capsules for about $6/10 it didn't seem worth the effort.

Staying in Wellington. Check out my AirBnB in the Wellington CBD.  https://www.airbnb.co.nz/h/wellycbd  PM me and mention GZ to get a 15% discount and no AirBnB charges.

+1 for nespresso.  I've tried coffee made with various pods on various machines and nespresso is the clear winner for my palate.  Not even close.

It cracks me up how pretentious the nespresso store is though ...
