Hi Nik,
What is the story about attending multiple days? I am going on Friday night and would like to take the gamers on Sunday (as they can shoot people in Rainbow Six but can't drive yet!)
Do I need to get a ticket with a different email address?
Cheers, Matt.
My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

A Friday ticket will get you in all three days (unless the venue is over capacity). :)

Back from the VIP evening. As suspected, the expo is targeted more towards gamers than business users. Some good deals to be had though.
Make sure you get your QR code scanned by various exhibitors. Each scan gets you one more entry in to the draw from hourly prizes (which you must be present to win).
Note, even with relatively small numbers at the VIP event, the carpark was fairly full when I arrived. Get there early if you want parking, it's going to be packed over the weekend.
Any general feedback on entertainment value of attending? I have tickets for me and my sons on Sunday, but if it's a bit indifferent and very crowded, may reconsider

For me personally, there wasn't much entertainment value, but I've also got next to no interest in gaming and mostly just walked past those exhibits. There were a number of systems around you could play on, and also a few VR systems you could have a go on (four in the middle, not sure what they were doing, two at Samsung where you could select the simulation you wanted to run while sitting in a vibrating/tilting chair, and one at HP). DJI also had drones flying, and it looks like they were letting people try some of them out, and there were some educational toys on display, but I'm not sure if there were opportunities for hands-on experiences. Of course, there were a bunch of phones you could fiddle with and buy.
The Canon 6D MKII, Microsoft Surface Studio and Wacom tablets were probably the things that interested me the most. Those and four LED lightbulbs for $10... the only thing I purchased.
hows it about getting weekend tickets now?
Also whos been? Its a massive trek to go all the way out south. Might go if they have some of the non dx racer gaming chairs out there since I want another one for work and Im not getting a piece of crap one with no support again.

Those queues were mental, super disorganized and it didn't even seem to be moving.
Turned around and headed back home!
Glad we went last night as well. The Ubiquiti stand was great. Sold me on the Security Gateway. Seeing the Microsoft Studio made me want one (but I am not sure quite what for) The STEM stand was good and I am sure we wouldn't be able to get near it today. The 6 year old thought it was very cool to play with OSMO stuff.
We picked up a bit of stuff.
Cheers, Matt.
