Resolution realised in record time! What now...?

If only I could retroactively update my 2017 resolutions to be last to post...

Concerning for the health of some members who's only hope is to still be above ground in 2019!

Let's hope all those resolutions are met!

Happy New Year everybody! I still have ~11 hours to wait 'til midnight - you 'Time Bandits' ;-)

Happy New Year to all. May it be a damn good one!

People often mistake me for an adult because of my age.

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Yes, well, thanks for the concern! Living with the unreconstructed part of an aortic aneurysm is a little bit like having the bony hand of the man with scythe on your shoulder....

My resolutions? down with 1080p, all the way with 4K!

In all seriousness though, I've got two:

1) Get myself in a better financial situation - reducing debt, get some liquid savings built up (to avoid going into debt in future).

2) Getting my weight down to 85-90kg. I've lost 30kg so far and by the end of this year getting down to my target weight is achievable. Not only for appearance reasons but also health reasons too.

 - move to our new house in Feb
 - buy football world cup tickets (main priority!!!)
 - install smart home devices as much as possible
 - build smart kitchen timer web app (ReactJS)
 - build smart kitchen timer app (React Native)
 - lose 5 kgs before Northern summer
 - do SMILE for my eyes
 - find new front-end dev job (just maybe wish, happy at current job)

Yes yes happy new year all,

as far as resolutions this year,

1) Watch Star Wars Force Awakens

2) Watch Rogue One

3) complete 1 and 2 in the first week of the year

4) unbrick modem without having to resort trying to get a replacement before fibre goes in! XD

That sounds more like a todo list for this month than actual resolutions but at least i know i'll at least do three of those on that list!

I don't do NY resolutions, but I always choose one word for the year and try and live by that. Last year it was "simplify." This year it's "healthier."

I like this sentiment.
I don't do NY resolutions but last year year was 'travel', this year is 'house'. All the home projects, large and small, that I keep thinking "I must get on to that", will be done this year. Everything from home automation (particularly lighting) and a new driveway, to putting up those last couple of rolls of wallpaper.

Now where did I put that sledgehammer?
