I haven't watched a 3D movie in cinema in years.

At home my main TV (2016 4K) is 3D capable but the active glasses were optional so I didn't bother to pick them up. My 2nd TV I do have 2 pairs of active glasses but I've not used it for 3D in years. I was using it for 3D gaming with my PS3 but when I upgraded to the PS4 Sony seemed to drop 3D gaming.

However just recently I've used my PSVR headset to watch a few of my old 3D blu-rays. This is probably the best way to watch 3D movies in my opinion.

rugrat: I was looking at the movie Player one.
It is made in 3D, I was under impression 3D was no more, yet here is the latest one in 3D.

So did you end up seeing Ready Player One?

I enjoyed the book but have read reviews saying that extra parts have been added to the movie to give it some more action, and other parts (eg all the 80's references) have been downplayed (this would be a big shame as that was one of the best things about the book). So I think I'll save myself some money and just wait for it to come out on DVD.
