Yes, it was exceptionally poor by them.  Was offending up to 2014. They are watched like a hawk now.

Same directors also prosecuted for the same offences back in to nineties as well, so watching didn't stop them last time!

The watching of the 90's and noughties bears little resemblance to now. It's possible they are still infringing, who knows. I'd imagine it would be pretty hard to not get caught these days.

If you are interested in ethical purchasing of seafood you might want to google Hawkes Bay Seafoods. 

 

For anyone in Wellington, Wellington Seamarket (stores on Cuba and Lambton) sell's nice fresh fish.
