Put 1 inch of yellow tape/pain/heatshrink around the pen.

I am definitely going to wrap my pen in pain - should stop it wandering...

I buy these.

I'm not sure if they are thick enough for you.  They seem to last OK.

Then you'll never loose another pen : its easy to spot on a desk , and its less likely to be picked up by someone else when you put it down.
If someone borrows your pen & walks away, its easy to spot that they still have it .

Warehouse Stationary have a really good range
I dont like the skinny pens either. The pens with the rubber grip are really nice in the hand

I have used ear-wax on the non-writing end.

When someone nicks said pen and sticks the non-writing end in their mouth .. the look of disgust is worth it. Doubly more so when you tell them why it tastes so bad ...

Well, that might be the grossest thing I've read in months. I am super glad we do not share a workspace.

I have a stack of these that are my regular at-the-desk pens. Have a few refills left also. They're really nice to use. If only I had nice handwriting to match.

So - I have bought:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000VC3FBS/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

(chunky, no lid to use, nice mechanism, compact)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FACLJBM/ref=crt_ewc_img_dp_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

(a bit cheaper, should write well, still chunky)

And will keep these in my EDC bag to see if - as suggested - a slightly nicer pen will inspire me not to lose them quite so easily!

Also, as recommended by MikeAqua, I will probably also get a pack of https://www.officemax.co.nz/Office-Products/Pens/Gel-Pens/OfficeMax-Blue-Rollerball-Gel-Pens-Fine-Tip-Pack-of-12-2180057 for the office, as these will likely go wandering once they hit my desk.

Probably too much to ask for that I never need get another pen again, but here's hoping they see me through a while!

Pens, Ay?? What are those?
Anyone interested to see how shocking my writing is?
Last time I wrote was when I had to get a car rego and that didn't go too well.

Generally the BIC does it for me!

I consider my handwriting to be form of encryption.  Sometimes I make notes that even I can't decipher.

I can only read half of what I wrote on an invoice I found at my desk from a while ago.. Can't be good.

Update!

The Pilot G2 Limited metal is perfect - just what I wanted. Chunky, solid, a good weight and writes really nicely.

The spacepen is..."Ok". Actually a little underwhelmed for the price, but it is decent enough.

Will be buying more of the G2 Limited - haven't seen them in NZ yet though, so might have to order another bunch from Amazon and stock up.

According to experts at theWirecutter.com. the best pen is the Uni Jetstream. Both Whitcoulls and Warehouse Stationery sell them and I can confirm that they are really nice to write with. So fast that they almost write too fast. smile

I'm a massive fan of the Pilot G2-Ex and this is coming from someone who was gifted a Montblanc pen.

Taubin:

My wife is a pen fanatic, she has tons of pens. She said the bic 4 color are her go to "cheap" pen. She then said everyone should own and use a fountain pen... I personally say you can't go wrong with the bic pens.

I personally love the Pilot G2 pens, but they can be difficult to find here.

Agree, the Bic 4 colour pen writes really well for the price. The old Bic Click pens are rubbish.

Why is that going through a referall link? buy.geni.us instead of straight to amazon

That's quite dodgy in my opinion.

Because that is Mauricios affiliate link so that he can make money from amazon for the site.
