Back on topic, its been 7 years. Not quite the number 8 wire lets get it done mantra of Kiwis

Yep! And when someone uses number 8 wire they actually want to repair or fix something. The most positive thing Megan Woods could come up with was to say it would be interesting for kids to watch a cathedral being built. I can just imagine the conversation among a family starting something like this:

'Hey kids, it's scorching hot day today, would you like to go to Jellie Park and jump off the diving boards & go on the hydroslides, or go & have a look at the Cathedral to see how many stones have been laid in the last month?'

Children then become teens! It wont happen overnight but it will happen (C) Rach!

:-) Nah, not yet, but after all this time, there needs to be clear and visible progress. After all this, and all this time, they could have rebuilt and redesigned the Square and surrounds. But no. The Strip, Cashel St retail, the Square, Oxford Terrace, it was all munted, a great opportunity to make a mark. But no.
