Too many carbs for me.  I didn't get as skinny as Kate Moss by eating stuff like that although it was the sort of thing that put me into the state when I decided I had to give up carbs.

I haven't been to a Taco Bell so would love to see one here, but just like the rest of the American chains we have in New Zealand they won't arrive in Dunedin (and maybe the South Island)

It's a travesty that we still do not have Pizza Express.

Yay! I miss Taco Bell. Have it every time I go to America. Probably won't have the $1 menu here though.

If the first store is anywhere north of Otahuhu I will be genuinely shocked.

I noticed the original Carls Jr in Takanini has closed while up in Auckland the other week.

We are fairly saturated with burger choices, which is why taco bell might do OK.

I wonder if Del Taco will come here, or el pollo loco? Probably can't be bothered.

The Carls Jr that was on Constellation Drive (in the Caltex station) disappeared earlier this year too. Went to go there from work, and it was all papered up and gone. There is one at Albany though, so they were quite close together.

I seem to remember that Carls Jr, when launched, had two parent companies in NZ - One was Restaurant Brands, the other (which opened the Takanini one) was someone else. I wonder if it is still two parent companies here?

I vote for Los Pollos Hermanos setting up shop here.
