I'm generally a supporter of capital punishment for rapists and pedophiles, but only because I can't see enough people supporting what I really think should happen to them. A fit and proper punishment would be lifelong imprisonment with constant torture. Keep them alive for as long as modern medicine will let us, whilst simultaneous making every single second of their existence as painful as it can possibly be. As close to literal hell on earth as as we can make it.

Yes, pretty bleak and vengeful. I thought my post would be boring as I noted, but its up there now. Work hard and community where possible, so a couple of us show the light!

Scrap home detention. Replace with 8 hours a day 5 days a week community work for the same period at minimum wage minus any benefits.

Ahhh, Feral goat control... I recall on a farm we had there was a slip on the side of a ridge, there was one little goat track in and out of the slip area to get back up on the ridge. The slip had all the lovely fresh grash and turned up vegetation the goats like. 
So every morning the goats would trek down in numbers of 15-30 and you could sit on the opposing ridge with a 22-250 and laser the buggers off the ridge when they would all bolt back up that path. Could nab around 5 of them a day if you were a good shot.
