Whoa.... one place online has them available for NZ.... $50 for 6 bars! Yeah, no thanks :D Theyre shipped from USA as well.

I'd just contact a relative in AU and get them to send some over :)

$2AUD per bar (or $1 on special) + some shipping.

Good idea but no relatives in Australia anymore - I have a friend in Brisbane though, I'll reach out to her.

That review is quite old now, I believe Crunchie has changed recipe a couple of times at least in that time.

A recent double-blind test of the AU variants of both bars would be a reasonable experiment.

Still on my mission to find Violet Crumble bars here. No, I don't want a box of 42, thank you Trademe πŸ˜ƒ

Anyone seen them around?

I think you just need to take one for the team. A series of 42 double-blind tests would be considered definitive enough to go into the New England Science Journal.

Worst case, if you get sick of it halfway though, I'll send you my address and I'll make the ultimate sacrifice for good of GZ.

It is so concerning when you can now Afterpay a $2 purchase.

And yes, I've seen it.

Haven’t seen them around (and I’m very very close to the confectionary trade).

I had a Quick Look at a couple NZ websites for the specialty importers but no trace of them.

have you thought about finding someone in Australia to buy off the shelf for you and post them?

Depending on the price and exchange rates and logistics costs you somtimes see parallel imports turn up.

Have you seen this website or checked local Australian supermarket chain websites?

Sorry (not sorry) to Hijack, but I know toffee milks were discontinued (crazy!) Does anyone know of reputable places that are still selling them?

Amazon AU is where I have got some things not available here in the past, but it seems that almost all the food has lost the free shipping deals and I dont really like paying for that.

Amazon AU won't ship them to NZ.

You would be lucky to find any left..
Whittakers never really made these batches often…
(Same production line as k Bars and you don’t see those often either)
