I agree with that article, a bit OT but I use soap-free and sulphate-free products. Never buy the toothpastes with Triclosan in the ingredients.
Also, on the topic of showering - would anyone building or renovating ever skip installing a mains pressure system in favour of low pressure for water conservation reasons? I highly doubt it as I think cost would be the main fact but happy to hear any thought about this. Didn't the Labour Govt run into problems years ago when it proposed limits on showerheads?
Overall it appears to me we are all happy with the current rate of water usage, even if it maybe a little excessive at times. It will take a far more momentous event to ever get us to seriously reign in our usage I think.
