As for Trump getting re-elected, yes, so long as US employment stays steady even if the economy tanks. The GOP are too chicken to admit they made a colossal mistake as the present elected would loose their seats and their egos wont allow that.

Mid-terms the GOP lost a lot of ground, with a number of seat and ego casualties.
I don't think that even the Republican Party could stomach another term of Trump. If he's a loose cannon now, imagine him when he has nothing to lose.
Trump supporters will always vote Republican
Trump's tweeting, etc puts him outside the Conservative ideal of a guy with good hair in a good suit who mouths platitudes

So my prediction is that Trump WON'T get the Republican nomination. It'll be a Pence/Rubio/Cruz/whoever clone. Roger Stone will be backing the winning candidate.

I predict that:

Millennials will get into fights with baby boomers.
Sexuals and homosexuals will get into fights with nerds and christians.
Cyclists will get into fights with motorists.

Any other culture wars that I missed?

2020 Elon Musk will continue to defy 'experts' and his stock price will keep rising.

2020 The media will continue its fall into irrelevance/and a mouthpiece for those in power driven by clickbait and spamvertising. (E.G. single news article in October in Stuff covering the Chilean riots..)

2020 Coffee and Cacao plantations might start decreasing production due to warming altering the plants lifecycle.

2020+ GMOs will start to be more widely accepted by the general public.

2020+ (No brainer..) Weed will continue its meteoric rise in fame and power.

2020 Mass riots in Australia as those displaced by the fires.

2020 Further ocean acidification will really start to 'eat' into the worlds fish supply as their food chain becomes even more distrupted.

2020 China will start to become more aggressive, start pushing the boundaries (figuratively and literally) to see what it can get away with.

2020 House prices will continue to rise, possibly not as high but it's simple math - our population is ever increasing, the available land is ever decreasing.

1. Winston Peters will sue someone.

2. Labour will win a second term, just.

3. NZ First will miss the 5% and Winston will demand recounts.

4. All Blacks will lose the Bledisloe Cup and the Rugby championship.

5. Lewis Hamilton will be the F1 Champion again.

6. Nissan and GMH will go into administration.

7. Republic talk will become an unresolved election issue but will gain momentum.

8. Brexit will create major issues for Londons financial sector pushing Great Britain into recession with global repercussions.

9. Samsung will release 20 new phones, Apple will reinvent something, Google will close something, Spark will sell a business or two, four building companies will collapse and I will eat a chop.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

1. Trump will be re elected I think everybody can see that coming.

2. Labour / Greens elected and if anybody has any sense will vote nz first out.

3. More media sensationalism , from Corona virus to a cob of corn they found on the moon when they visit it.

4. Life will go on and we will try to bring our kids up with a moral compass so perhaps they can make the world a better and safer place.

5. My wife will continue to ask and I will continue to ignore things that need doing around the house.

Of course Trump will win..again... Democrats are too divided to put up a united front unfortunately which is kind of SAD!. I joke but if the dems were serious they would take it internal and unite behind one person and push them..
