Most of the above and a couple of full LPG bottles for emergency brisket cooks if I were to run out of charcoal.

The paddock butcher. Chooks and sheep too, and the Tuki Tuki river is a stones throw away so will be doing OK for protein.

Just posting here to keep this in my thread history. When I eventually get round to implementing this, I'll grab your ideas.

I suppose it depends upon how big the disaster you are preparing for actually is...!

Big enough and the only cash worth having is gold.

Don't forget cash in low denominations. Shops may be open, but EFTPOS may be down.

Under the bed:  A pair of Warehouse Gumboots, top of one stuffed into the other.

After A.P.8 there will be new carpet of debris glass and flowing sewage etc.

If you do, really think through water access and cleaning. I've just cleaned ours - needs to be done once a year - and the water pressure is low, so takes ages to empty etc. I'm happy with the location, just didnt anticipate what the maintenance would be like

Never understood that logic. Can't eat it. Can't make anything useful out of it. It's really heavy. It's shiny and yellow ... and that's about it really. If we're having a disaster and you have either gold or a bag of coffee to trade with me for my chicken drumstick, I'll take your gold and bop you on the head with it. Now I have your gold and your coffee. And my chicken drumstick.

@MikeB4 that's good stuff but really not much water. 30L per person per day is recommended, 2L per person per day is essentials only. Link.
