No. It wasn't clear to me at all. I did not realise you need to declare you're essential seller to get pay by Ping. So, they have accumulate all my payment and still haven't pay me yet.

Withdraw your items. The sellers are their business, without them, they have no business. If a few more disgruntled traders do the same they will soon pull in their horns.

@sitrack, it doesn't make a difference if you are casual or in trade. If you can't access your money then there is some other problem with your account. What did TradeMe say when you reported this to them?

As at 9 April :

Ping: Casual sellers and approved essential businesses can now withdraw their Ping balance as normal

So I see trademe are still forcing some people to use ping as the only form of payment accepted when listing an item for sale, for me when I list an item I cannot offer bank transfer as usuall, ping is automatically generated, even when I untick the box for ping and tick the box for bank payment only, when I then list and check the listing, ping payment is still the only payment option,no option for bank payment! I guess until level 3 has finished and we enter level 2, this is how it is?

What would be the rationale to requiring ‘some people’ to use Ping but not others? I just started a number of auctions this morning and all were established with bank transfer (and cash removed) as the payment method.

I too wonder this?

"I just started a number of auctions this morning and all were established with bank transfer"

Yes it seems some can, but for me at least I can't.

I've asked trademe, but I don't expect an answer any time soon.

According to the latest selling guidelines, then bank transfer is a recommended payment method, so it appears there is some other fault with your account, just contact TradeMe and ask them to fix it.

Payment must be made via Ping, bank transfer or Afterpay only – cash is not permitted.
