I'm just trying to figure out if it's at all possible to transfer the old forums across, I have a grab from the wayback machine.

Wouldn't you need access to the SQL database to do a transfer?

You're unlikely to get a copy of the database at this stage unfortunately, judging by the message on the old forum is sounds like it was lost.

Your best bet is to probably parse the Wayback machine archive and create threads/posts on your forum. Not sure if there are legal issues there though.
