Eat, drink and F....
A bit of telly as well.
Mike
My wife (ER doctor) and I have been living apart by choice to minimise risk of infection to me and our wider families. She'll likely return at level 2. For now, as a "single" guy, my evening consists of amusing one of our cats that is currently with me, talking to my wife when she's not at work, and lots of reading and gaming. My wife and I also sometimes play MP games together. I typically finish work around 5pm and do all this and then go to sleep around 1am.
Tend to get up early and start work. Two kids to sort as well, although me and my partner double team it; we both work over-fulltime!
I finish up work and get into the kitchen to cook, it is a great escapism from being on a laptop all day.
By the time dinner is all done, and tidyed away, kids in bed.. its getting towards 2000...by the time we sit down its late. One TV show and then its off to bed.
We tend to make more 'use' of the weekends in terms of family time, being productive with other side hustle.
I like the idea of doing more stuff in the evening, but partly don't want to over commit to stuff.
good question.
The little things make the biggest difference.
Have tried a couple of online "board games" with wider family in other bubbles as the result of a suggestion while in a family Zoom meet-up. Worked surprisingly well.
