Batman:
Umm... I thought it's the same speed as light
the speed of light is measured in a vacuum, last i checked we didnt live in one of those, so its going to be slightly slower

As @frankv said, in vacuum they are the same speed. In any other media, different wavelengths have different speeds. That's why we have rainbows, why astronomical telescopes use mirrors instead of lenses, and why the longer the distance, the slower the bit-rate has to be.

RunningMan:Radio waves for the cell network travel a lot faster than sound, which is about 330 m/s. So very roughly takes about 3 seconds for sound to travel 1km. There will be some delay in cell network, but if you are more than say 1/2km away, you will hear it through the phone first.
There's a great video somewhere in Youtube (can't reference it, sorry) of someone running up an old Chrysler air raid siren a long way away. You can hear it run up over a cellphone and then run down again. The guy puts the cellphone down and after a pause you can hear the same run coming through the air, it's a pretty amazing delay.
