oh man I would like that coriander badge. I have gladly eaten a cheese and coriander sandwich. Stalks and all! Yum
My brother-in-law is a soap-taster and can't stand it.

Cheers,
Joseph

That badge was created not for those who actually like it but the one person who complains a lot - @michaelmurfy

I think he will be the only one ever holding it.

That's cruel.. nearly as cruel as putting coriander in peoples food.. It should really be charged under section 200 of the Crimes Act (Poisoning with Intent)

PS: Can deal with the seed based spice, but very not a fan of the fresh leaves.

Coriander is delicious.

There, I said it.

Next, you'll be claiming pineapple on pizza is edible.

Pineapple on pizza is not just edible, it's amazing.

We LOVE coriander and we'll go through a plant a week in the summer.

The best result I ever had for a curry was buying a pre-made spice pack and then following the instructions.  The spice pack made it totally amazing, and I've yet to produce anything as good doing it for myself, despite being a reasonable cook.

Totally agree. I make a lot of curries from scratch but, yep, if you’re talking about those Patak’s kits with the three sachets etc - they really are brilliant. Mrs Code bought a new brand at Pak’n Save a few days ago - Street Food (or something like that). Exactly the same idea and equally as good as the Patak’s kits.

Coriander is essential but sometimes we substitute cilantro.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Watching garden videos as I do, he mentioned about growing Cilantro. Hmm, wonder if we can get seeds here, never seen them before. Until I realised.....

I understand the sentiment about anything homemade being better, but I can't agree. Often if is, but not always.

Years ago I did an Indian cooking class. I can make Indian dishes that taste better than restaurant. I don't though because it's very time consuming to buy all the spices, sometimes roast them, grind them, and the preparation can be slow. For example butter chicken is marinaded overnight, then cooked the next day, and it's best the day after that when it's been in the sauce for a day.

Pineapple is not edible on anything . I will take this opportunity to state for the record that Watties Spaghetti is fantastic on Pizza. It just is and there is no viable argument to the contrary.

Back in the day...

On Tuesday night [Bill] English cooked dinner for his family – a 1980s rural Kiwi classic: tinned spaghetti and pineapple pizza.

I'm seriously thinking of referring this post to the Mods - desperately searching the FUG for something to hang my hat on.

Bugger - can't find anything.

I stand by my stand hmmm is that a thing? no worries. As I said I stand nd by my stand and also raise my hand in support of Watties Spaghettis cousin the humble and polite(sometimes) Baked Beans.

For curry I hold up for supreme ruler Vencatachellum Curry Powders.
