What sort of Kayak did you get?

I warn you it can be addictive and believe it or not can be expensive too.

Mine is called Gentleman's hours as I am the last one to turn up.

A friends is called Mothership and her husbands one was called battleship.

But, get yourself a hand held VHF, decent kayak life jacket, coastguard membership also join a kayak fishing club for safety in number and lots of learning.

Kuer branded from Warehouse (woohoo) - for price and a first kayak, couldn't argue :)

Already got oodles of fishing gear. Trolley, drogue, and other bits on way. VHF is on the cards (Doing MVOC shortly), and will wander down to Burnsco probably tomorrow to look at life-vest options.

As for Coastguard nah, why would I need that.

I've just had a chance to look over this thread and really need to say that everyone has made fantastic naming suggestions! Well done all who have contributed - I know that if I get a kayak this is the first place I'll look for inspiration... but it'd be very difficult to select a favourite. Lovely work!
