Painful price increases. Like typical Apple, probably well beyond what's justified too.
Until there's a like-for-like replacement for the 27inch iMac I'm unlikely to be be a customer anyway.
I bought an Apple TV last week (duty free) as I had a feeling the price for the rumored release in Sep/Oct would factor in the RAM prices.
Never expected the current model to have such a significant hike.
Glad I got my daughter an iPad Air before it went up $300, gross
The Apple TV 4K price is just laughable now

Agreed, just picked up an existing model at old prices.
Feel very happy that I got son 1 a Neo at Edu discount for school last month...

Looks like Apple has increased their prices, some significantly, across the board.

Thoughts?
Personally i was holding out on a deal for the ipad A16 which was $699 RRP but see it has jumped $200 to $899. Guess i’ll be holding onto my old one for a while longer…
Also quite surprised the Apple TV 4k has increased by $150 from $279 to $429…
That's a bit of a jump. I bought an A16 128 GB last weekend for $633 at Noel Leeming, glad I did after seeing this 😐
Happy I am transitioning away from Apple. As things pass retirement age they will be replaced by alternatives. I repaired my damaged iPhone 15 ProMax and was considering replacing it this year. I was going to use my Nothing Phone as my main phone but that is proving to be less than reliable. My M1 iMac can live on as will my M4 MacBook Air for a few years.
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
If you are buying now, make sure you know what you're getting. Yesterday the Mac Mini came with a 512 GB SSD. Today it's 256 GB.

I'm the same. You can't fault the general build quality, performance, and integration of Apple products but the prices are now just silly.
2027 the year of Linux 😀

This could be Banana's time to shine.
Nah - banana's only role is to indicate scale.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
The Apple TV's pricing is laughable, especially for a device that was released in October 2022.

You wont escape the pain ..
This is being driven from the component manufacturers, particularly RAM and SSDs. there is no where to hide if you're remaining a tech user..

I will reduce my requirements considerably. We will be travelling a lot over the next few years. I wont be needing a desktop PC. I will look to alternatives in laptops for example the up coming Android laptops or open source based solutions. Phones I have to give a lot of thought to as reliability is very important. I have been an Apple user for a long time but their prices are prohibitive. I used Linux extensively so quite happy to return to that.
