Tohe,

A good mailing list is a good resource to have for another computing problems

This is the one I use :

http://osxlist.aclearlink.com/OS-X_List/OSXList.html
http://groups.google.com/group/osxlist-discussion-list

If you don't get any help for your problem there just post here or PM me . I'll help if I can and also some other forum regulars here are MacHeads so can offer help in any way they can.

Also osxhints.com is a very good site for tips n tricks.

I've just found out that SHI, the company that are contracted by my work to provision my MacBook Pro, will be sourcing it from their "New Zealand Supplier". I am assuming this is Renaissance.

Lets hope they give me a nice first impression and get it to me nice n quick :)
My poor 2yo old Compaq is about to die (Good riddance to bad rubbish!)... Had nothing but troubles with it since day 1.

*Tohe bounces with anticipation

Who is SHI? Have they got a website?

SHI are Software House International.

They're just an international procurement company that we contract for all hardware aquisitions.

Can anyone recall when Apple started their own online store in NZ and pulled the plug on the Renaissance version of the Apple Store?

From what I can see online, Renaissance was still running it back in 2006/07

@Tohe> 2007 or thereabouts. That was when Renaissance started relinquishing apple.co.nz and Renaissance needed to change their email addresses from @apple.co.nz to Renaissance ones.

It's not mine no.
I do have some kirituhi (non traditional māori tattoos) but I'm in the process of working with an artist from my marae on my traditional moko

The pic is just a bit of my "Māori Represent" Wink
