on Telecom CDMA  (with a Palm Treo 650 ) for work on-account plan
and on Vodafone prepay for personal use (best mates / family) with a Vodafone 715 handset (made by HTC)

Currently contemplating upgrading to an HTC Magic on Vodafone prepay.

It's a pain carrying two phones, but for now it is the best way for me.

kind regards Andrew TD

On my second Blackberry with VF and soon to be a third one when my contract expires in April.

My daughter (20) today got a new VF phone; she was on XT pre-paid until yesterday. She and her friends text mainly and the primary reason for the switch was not the outages (in Christchurch) so much as the persistent delays in receiving texts (I posted about this in December). She tells me that a lot of her friends are, or have made the switch to VF.

several 2 degrees prepays for calling, 3 telecom CDMA prepaid that I have just accumulated (2 of which I use a great deal)

Vodafone free since shortly after 2 degrees launched. If they want me back they need to sell me a sim for a sane price or let me go on a plan without a term.

Unfortunately my source for mobiles of questionable origin is in the UK, so no XT capable ones ever come thru.

Actually yeah, I have a XT prepaid sim in a sierra wireless aircard 880U that I got off trademe for a few dollars that I have fired up a few times when out with the lappy. Might be coming up 6 months, better check that out since if it expires it will be annoying.
