The simple solution -maybe- would be to contact the importer to see if parts are obtainable. If it's a Classique, I think you could try Kitchen 'n Things.

Failing that, you may need to have a custom metal transition made. If in Auckland, a company like Jensens, in Church St, Onehunga may help.
