a family friend of ours climbed up the radio mast at Titahi Bay (the second highest structure in NZ behind the Sky Tower) a few times, there's some quite impressive photos from there. He used to do it as a party trick back in the day. However the final time he did it, he did do it legally.

There's a huge fence etc all round it now, so you probably can't do it any more.
