We have to stay in town today, so we might stop at Il Picollo tonight.

Oh no! Inlaws (father-in-law) is coming tonight for dinner, and waiting before going to the airport to pick mother-in-law up from those horrid midnight flights from Australia... So we will have to ditch the Il Picollo plans. Or convince him...

Actually mine are really good, I like them! But I also like the pizza at Il Picollo.

jpwise: Well.. I grabbed some Hungry Kiwi's pizza on the way home last night... (Lower Hutt store)
It wasn't necessarily bad as such, but it certainly wasn't exceptional. Especially given the prices..
I had the Apricot Chicken Deluxe. Flatmate grabbed a Nacho something a rather.
General consensus. Not that great. : /
Think I'll go back to Hell's & Domino's.
Jp.

Ohhh come on!!! they are the bomb!!! maybe Upper Hutt ones are better?  or maybe you got to give a big Smile to the Guy when ordering!!!  a smile gets you a long way always! Hungry Kiwis Pizza all the way.

Well.... I won't begrudge that they may have had a bad day, but at least the one I got that night wasn't anything spectacular. : (  which is a shame seeing I was looking forward to it. :(

oh, well. might try them again some time.

those so inclined should try the "meat n veg hold the veg" pizza and if they ask give them your name and address so you get the special offers, they make the pizza taste even better (IMO)

Went to the movies today to see "March of the Penguins" (US version, narration by Morgan Freeman). Really cool picture. After the movie we had a calzone in town at, er, Calzone (Couternay Place). I also had an entree': "prawn, garlic and safron gnocchi"... This is the second time I had this one - and it was nice again...

Never heard of Hungry Kiwi's, obviously don't have it in Tauranga :( But we do have Hell's which is my pizza choice unless I'm going out for dinner or it's a work function, in which case it's Alimento!
