don't have a cam currently but just learned to use skype with son who recently moved to Australia. Having a cam would be so much better than the messaging chat we currently use to stay in touch.

that would be an ecumenical matter

Eye have a Microsoft webcam at home and a built in one in my laptop - neither are particularly good - use for Skype to POMland.

Certainly can't use it for a retinal scanner!

I currently have the logitech HD 9000 - which is mounted above the tv for Large screen group skype sessions.

Will use the new camera so can have it on the computer instead of having to move the current one around.

I've got no camera right now. However with a baby on the way and my parents in America i'd use the Logitech HD webcam to show them our newborn.  (Once it's born of course!)  Get me in to win!

High Definition Security Camera for the front door is needed, we have this guy that comes in and always raids the beer from our fridge, something like this might give me enough warning to hide the beer.

Currently have a Logitech web cam. Would use an HD one to go on the rFactor simulator I'm building. It would make for some awesome in-car footage to send to my brother in the UK.

Current have a low res web cam that when I skype my nieces overseas, they struggle to see me on. Would love to be able to show them a better version of me, well a HD version at least!

Thanks Logitech

On the shared computer, we're using the iMac's built in webcam. Would be great for my old laptop though for Skype calling etc.

Would love to have a cam so my girls (aged 2 and 7) can skype their grandparents that are away for 3 months in the South Island and then they're off to England. At the moment the kids can see the grandparents, but not the other way around :(

I currently do not have a webcam. If I did have a webcam I would utilize it as a puppy cam.

Meet Chase. Chase is 8 months old. While I am at work, Chase patrols his domain (our backyard) whenever it is a sunny day. My washing is also hung out to dry on these days.

Chase believes that everything in his domain is his to play with, washing not excluded. I will often come home to find Chase, excited to see me and proud of a mound of washing on the grass, instead of the line.

I plan to setup the camera in the backyard, sending me live updates throughout the day to check and make sure that Chase is leaving the washing alone. I will also have to get some sort of speaker system setup outside that I can send a "Chase, No" command out of when I see him doing something that he shouldn't be.

Thank you for reading.

this is a slap in the face!

my current cam came from deal extreme and cost less than a maccas meal. its 4:3 and grainy as. also needs an uncomfortable amount of light to work.

would use it to make some youtubes of things.

I currently have some crappy Dick Smith web cam. Ideally I would like to jam remotely with one of my ex-band mates in Australia.
