Well, I couldn't convince my wife to go, but I have scored Gold GA tickets for me and a mate. I'm disappointed she didn't want to go in the end, as I think she would've really enjoyed it. Thanks to all for the advice.

thats too bad.

I went to AC/DC there as well. Was on the field about halfway back towards the terraces. Was great, there was plenty of room further back on the field. hell there were families having picnics before the show started.

I wouldnt have wanted to be too close anyway, the stage was set really high off the ground so if you were at right at the front your neck would have got a workout.

I've got tickets to Foos as well, on the field. Reckon it's gonna be a great night, they are always good live. Also heading to Def Leppard, and Alice Cooper once the tickets come out.

I bought my tickets for the Foos concert :) It's going to be my first concert ever. I bought my tickets during the presale but I'm not sure about the seating plans. I'm in the Field but the the row I'm in are double digits - row 44? Is this a good seat? I tried to get the best possible tickets and I'm hoping that they are.

All tickets are GA, which means there is no allocated seating. The numbers on the tickets are for reference only. IOW, your tickets are as good as you want them to be. :-)

It's a 4.30pm gate, so I'd expect people to line up early. There'll be some there from early morning, but otherwise early afternoon will probably see people coming down. I don't know what time the bands are on.
