Received this email last week- thought it was very strange they are promoting Google, which in the online space is their biggest competitor.

Yellow is a Google customer/partner not competitor. If you look at the adverts/results in Google you will see that Yellow uses this to advertise their customers.

I think they resell google offerings, or they have some agreement with them. That advert doesn't actually say what they are selling. When I was called by yellowpages once, I said that I now do all my advertsing on google adwords, so wasn't interested, and they told me that they do offer google solutions, but I am not sure what that actually is, perhaps someone else will know.

its them arranging the buy of the google stuff because there are plenty of businesses around that cant work it out for themselves.
