Indeed, this poor attitude was displayed at the RWC 2011.

It still is.. Ask any Aussie that lives here that doesn't even follow rugby... It happens almost daily.
People even try to use it in an argument! :/

I've been here from Sydney since 2002. Once, at work, we had a gumboot throwing competition. I threw under-arm, and won.
Just sayin'.
gzt: The rugby stuff is generally good natured on both sides. But, on the other side of the Tasman they also have the the "Kiwis are stealing our jobs" thing, with everything that kind of thinking implies.
