marmel: Entropay. They charge 5%. I am using their service to run Netflix.

Entropay requires documentation from you - including evidence of address, so how can you get a US-based credit card?

On another hand, there's a discussion about a third party providing credit cards that work with Hulu and other services.

EntroPay only require proof of an address. Doesn't matter if it is the us or nz. You just have to photograph and email a copy of a power bill or similar. Entropay have a major bank behind them as well so there is a bit of piece of mind there.

But what address ends up in your Entropay card?

That's the problem, you don't have an address. You can't use the card at certain online retailers that will require address verification.

geekiegeek: good stuff and they even have a discount at present that takes away most of the exchange rate hit.

Perfect timing as I have just shifted my apple tv to a US vpn for netflix and now I can also start using the US itunes store!

Let us know what the quality is like with Netflix via apple tv. I have found the quality to be fairly average running through my htpc. I have a fairly quick Internet connection but have never been able to get netflix to stream in hd.

I couldn't get HD via PC either, I think they only allow it for devices like apple TV etc. Netflix HD works great with the apple TV on a 95+" projector screen. SD looks just as good as broadcast SD as well.

Did you use a guide to running a VPN on atv? I'd be quite keen to set it up at home.
