No he's a Ragdoll X. His Mum was purebred Raggie, not sure what Dad was.
Edit: @BurningBeard , funnily enough, one of the pics in that Wikipedia article you linked to looks a hell of a lot like our grey boy:
We met Arlo's mother, she had all the classic ragdoll characteristics and looked much like this example:
Where as Arlo's late sister Shadow didn't get any of that fluffy look:
We don't know if they actually had the same father. Maybe they were only half siblings. If you look at their faces and eyes, you can see they have a similar facial structure.

Yep, She's a Bengal. Got her from a breeder who had given her to her son, who couldn't keep her because she got bullied by his dog.
Her colouring when she is in sunlight is a lot more pronounced.

Our other cat Noelle is a tabby and white, but some of her markings are spots like your cat has.

Wow. Yeah the reason I ask is I have one and I'm pretty sure she's a Nebelung but I can't be sure. She fits every characteristic physically and in personality also; the only thing that doesn't match up is her size - she's about as big as an adolescent cat. She was a runaway kitty (very long story behind that) who picked us to live with so I can't be sure of her breed.
One of our two cats washing herself - literally:
They are sisters of 90% Turkish Van & 10% Social and they love water as you can see in the first link (see here for further posts of our cats)
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
Argh..... I miss having cats. After our last gorgeous moggies passed, we chose not to replace them as very good family friends we see at least weekly have 2 kids highly allergic (epipen-level). I can't justify hundreds on a hypoallergenic cat as this would interfere with my gadget budget. I'm more of a rescued-SPCA-animal kinda guy.
The last time the Mrs and I went to the SPCA (a dozen years ago) I was very pleased to see a sign advising cats were half price. One cat what what we discussed and agreed before we left home. You can probably guess the end of that story...

Ours also likes to play with water. He does not like to be brushed though.
Tank. Has a fetish for stealing socks out of wash baskets. Gets staunch with blackbirds, but only when they're up a tree.
Arlo had an appointment with a pet groomer today. He's a long haired cat and has had terrible knotted mats of fur forming on his belly and around his legs. The woman quickly shaved and brushed all of them out while we held him still. He tolerated it very well actually.
After we let him out of the cage at home, he came inside and spent some time licking what was left of his tummy fur.
Here's a pic showing a bit of his missing fur:
Mr Arlo will be celebrating his second birthday tomorrow. His sister Shadow would have been two also.
I can't believe it's been two years since Blackie passed on now.
