No, not really. There is a risk of that, or as another poster said, it not exploding when it should. Until it's looked at, you won't know.

It should be taken somewhere without delay.

it might not go off when it should in an accident, though.

Yes it should be looked at promptly, but it's not a drop everything and do it this instant kinda task.

Thats is the only thing that should make you rush in, not the "it will explode" as you mentioned.

Many cars don't have air bags, and it's up to you to weigh the risks.

yep need to plug in a scan tool, and even some of the bluetooth ones wont even give you all the info.

AFAIK Nissans have a reset procedure that doesn't need a scantool. You could try that and see if the light comes back. Other than that I'd leave it to a pro to fix. If you don't go about the testing in the right way you could set an airbag off

This one could even have its own thread, but I thought Id start here.

Does anyone know of an easy way to cut up large cardboard boxes so they fit in the recycling bin?

We use a stanley knife mostly for boxes but sometimes this is quite difficult. Is there another tool that will cut thru cardboard easily?

for home use, not commercial :)

I use my reciprocating saw with a pruning blade in it. Makes a lot of mess so do it outside where it can blow away.

Im leaning towards some sort of electric blade for sure... just to add a bit more detail - think boxes for new fridge or washing machine etc... Large ones that need cutting down

Yes, That's what I use it on into 400mm wide pieces to go up the side of the recycling bin.

It is an available option for F&P deliveries (along with taking away the old appliance itself for recycling).

I'm not always a fan of banning things but polystyrene packaging should be. There's just no need for that horrible stuff when you can make perfectly good padding out of recycled cardboard.
