So I've got an iPhone 3GS. After upgrading to the new os4, it seems to have stability issues. Very often it resets while on calls. Hopefully the android doesn't do that..

:-)

i am currently using a frankenstein palm treo 750V.  frankenstein because it has been reassembled out of the best components from three treos in various states.  i was able to assemble 2 pretty good phones and one as more of a device for backup only.

amazingly, these palm treo 750 phones are over 3 years old and will run on all three networks here - vodafone, 2degrees and telecom XT - and using both 2G (GSM) and 3G - even HSDPA.  I wish all newer phones did that too!

I have an LG Optimus GT540 I bought in the UK. Totally loved this phone when I got it and Android is so amazing! I'm dying to update it to something faster, with a bigger screen, and with an OS version later than 1.6 .

What is this iphone thing anyway? I use an iron on my shirts but it's not made by Apple

Currently I have a samsung w531. Its about 2yrs old. A week or two after I got this phone, I went surfcasting. Having caught a kahawai, I bled it as you do and blood squirted all up my sleeve. so there I was knee deep in the surf rinsing the blood off my sleeve and my brand new w531 fell out my pocket into the water. I ran after it as the wave was pulling it back to deeper water. I managed to grab it and gave it a good shake to get rid of the sand and seawater. So much for my new phone, i thought. Opened the phone and it was still working. And now 2years later I still have that phone and it is still working fine. Cool

I have an Okta Touch, a Samsung Blade and a Nokia E71, though the Nokia is technically a work phone and is currently the only one connected to a mobile network.  If I were to win the Motorola Milestone, I'd give it to my beautiful fiance to replace her aging Samsung Envy.

As you can see, my current phone is older than the moon, and it even has an external antenna!  Every time I use it in public I am ridiculed by passers by..

The hinge is starting to crack, and I don't know how much longer it will last..  Even Telecom called me yesterday trying to convince me to upgrade to a shiny new XT phone.  Unfortunately, there is only one 2 XT phones I'm interested in, the milestone and the galaxy, neither of which I will be able to afford this century!

So if you will kindly send this phone my way it will make everyone happy, even Telecom!

Cheers

Hi,
I am limping along on an ancient Samsung flip phone connecting on Telecom's old system.
This sounds like just the boost I need to get back up to date in at least one area of technology!

Currently have a Samsung GT-C5510 operating on 2 different networks as I cant afford another phone, but not on telecom. Ipod and Iphones may be great and all my friends have at least 1 apple product, but me I enjoy having different things to my friends and this would be one of those things.

It appears that unlike most people I am quite happy with my current phone (Nokia 5800).  But with all the fan-boy noise about Nokia's not being real smart phones, I guess I need the opportunity to be 'educated'.  Ah, so be it  (not that likely though, since tweet-geeks get multiple chances).
