RUKI:
That's so cute!
I love how she drops the ball on the ramp to make it roll.

Thank you. He does same with plastic springs as well. And a lot of other things we were unable to capture yet as it happens unexpectedly.
Fun fact - one of peers was so frastrated of an application on their PC loading for too long - showed them that short <2 min video while application was still loading. They started smiling and at the time the app has loaded they were happy and ready with their daily routine :-)
Kesha is now 10 months and 6 kg:
And he has his portrait in watercolour (when he was 3 month kitten):
That painting will be exhibited at Mairangi Art Center - exhibition opens 8 February 2017. Hope it sells and Kesha gets his Raw Essentials supplies for quite a while :-)

my cat, bean, never knows what is going on when she wakes up.
I have to give her a few pats to make her realise shes blowing raspberrys.
Poor Arlo was hit by a car and killed, over the long weekend. He didn't come home on Saturday night and we've been looking for him since.
After a tip off, I found his body at a nearby business this morning.
Very sadly, his sister Shadow (the black cat in the pic) was also killed, in 2016 in the same way.
They were born in November 2014, so neither was very old.

Sad to say I too have been there. Lost one of our cats to a bumper bar in Melbourne in the 80's. The angry & sad thing was it too was over a long weekend which also co-coincided with the beginning of duck shooting season. She went missing on the Friday and on the Monday evening (3 days later) received a call (oh yes she had a phone No tag on) from the campaign director of the Coalition Against Duck Shooting - Laurie Levy - to say he had discovered her body in the middle of the road Friday afternoon and placed her under a tree on the side of the road.
What made me angry was he was so busy being an advocate to save the ducks (I even saw him on the Saturday night news) he could not be bothered to ring us on the Friday evening.
Oh well I suppose you have to get your priorities right.
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
RIP Arlo and Shadow. Beautiful creatures and loyal friends.

Oh no! Condolences to you and Mrs Kermit :(
We got this cutie after Christmas from the SPCA. Was taken away from his mother too early though, so is very needy and has to be touching skin of my wife or I to sleep.
Also very bitey.
And another one has left us...
Our rescue kitten Noelle who came into our lives on Christmas day 2015 was put down this morning. The vet said she had a classic case of FIP which is a really cruel disease with no cure.
That is now four cats gone since Shadow was killed in May 2016. RIP Shadow, Fluffy, Arlo and now Noelle. May you rest forever and know that we loved you all.
Some animals are companions. Others become much-loved family members. I just made a donation to the SPCA in memory of Noelle. She wasn't my family member but she reminded me of someone who was. Maybe others here also have animals they would like to memorialise in such a way. The SPCA can use all the help it can get. Nothing could be done for Noelle but maybe others can at least benefit from her passing. There are heaps of big-eyed kittens and other adorable creatures starting out in life every day, and not all of them get to be rescue adoptions.

A great big thanks to Rikki for doing this. She met Arlo and Noelle in 2016 when she visited us here.
I thought I'd re-post some pictures of our babies as a tribute to them all:
