I have a much loved HTC P3600i.  I love this phone (I keep reminding myself I was comparing it to the original non-3G iPhone) but it's time for an upgrade.

I have a Nokia E50. No keypad, no screen, and it doesn't connect to Vodafone (only 2degrees' 'home' network)

In the meantime, I have a Bluechip VX1 (18 quid worth of disposable-type phone).

Nokia E50 + Bluechip VX1

It's time to upgrade. This would be perfect.

Must... have.... this.... my iphone 4 (vodafone) misses calls, 3g freezes , terrible time with it. I mean, you at least expect the basic receiving of calls would work better than my old nokia 1100. Doh!!!

My samsung conveniently has the language button next to the spacebar. Since it's touchscreen with like 1kb ram , half the time I'm texting in Italian or German.
And I'm a poor uni student so I'd love this upgrade at no cost.

Oh, I'd love to win this phone. At the moment I'm still rockin' my Nokia N95 for personal use, my work phone is an HTC Touch running the Onyx WM6.5 rom. I would dearly like to upgrade to any Droid mobile but I can't justify it really, since both phones are going fine for me. If I win this, some family member will get a nice hand-me-down!

w00t... an 850MHz Android...

Currently rocking an "international" Samsung Galaxy S... which is on 900/2100MHz... which is fine on XT, as long as you're in downtown Auckland :P

Would dearly love to have the 850MHz capability, so I could actually use it on XT at home (out here in the 'burbs')...

I have a Desire.

I have played with the Milestone and I think it would be perfect for the Mrs.
She currently has some old school Sony phone and has been hounding me for an iPhone, I don't think I could make myself buy an iPhone, but the Mrs is nagging.......

Please for the sake of my sanity!

HTC Trophy Windows Phone 7 - which *rocks*! Also have a Treo Pro floating around . . .
The Droid would be an interesting replacement for my wife's Sony Ericsson C510 on XT . . .

chuckie: Currently I have a samsung w531. Its about 2yrs old. A week or two after I got this phone, I went surfcasting. Having caught a kahawai, I bled it as you do and blood squirted all up my sleeve. so there I was knee deep in the surf rinsing the blood off my sleeve and my brand new w531 fell out my pocket into the water. I ran after it as the wave was pulling it back to deeper water. I managed to grab it and gave it a good shake to get rid of the sand and seawater. So much for my new phone, i thought. Opened the phone and it was still working. And now 2years later I still have that phone and it is still working fine. Cool

I put mine through the wash and it was A-OK! Awesome piece of kit!

Currently suffering from a major bout of phone envy as my workmates around me show off their Iphone 4s and Galaxy S'. Poor me suffers with a Sony W995, which does well for what I want it to do, but an android phone would do so much more, and I can finally join their group of technology elitists and not be left out. :-)

Colleague has just got a Nexus One, which is a sexy beast next to my dirty great big, positively ancient HTC P3600. So I also now have a serious case of phone-envy. Desperately need to win this as 'just gotta have a new sexy phone' doesn't really go down that well with the domestic boss!

I own a Nokia N95, which I have recently rehoused with a kit I bought from Hong Kong. Reassembly seemed to go smoothly, but the microphone is not working. So I have a very slick black N95 text communicator, with a 5MP camera and 8GiB additional RAM installed.

I'll definitely fix it, but it takes an hour or more, which is time I don't have right now (I was just checking my mail, I promise). In the meantime the idea of a new, current-model phone has definitely crossed my mind, but I can't really justify the expense.

I strongly suggest to anyone considering rehousing their Nokia N95 that they enter this competition.
